Pandemic conditions well implemented. I couldn't judge the food, but the answering machine is great!

Really bad! We got the main course and dessert at the same time and the waitress looks at me very surprised that I don't want everything together. Then I should say exactly when I would like the dessert ... In 10 minutes? I wasn't on the run after all. We just wanted to have a pleasant evening. Do the wait staff have no training at all, no experience at all? Pity! So much stress for free ... It could be a great evening!

Very nice place, with a cozy saloon, tasty food and good fresh beer. The atmosphere there reminded me of some Britsh pubs. All the staff is really friendly. They explain everything that is in the menu (available in different languages) and also the differences among the beers. The tasting beer ruler + a nice lunch dish summed up less than 14€. The ribs tasted good and the beer was super fresh. I also grabbed one litter of their Weizen to drink later (4.50€ the beer + 2.50€ for the returnable bottle).

It always tastes great here! The service is rustic in Hesse and the atmosphere is atmospheric. Finally, be sure to take the locally brewed beer with you along with your own brewery glasses. The tip in the Taunus!

The food is a little salty (German average) Beer is delicious because it's draft I ordered a set that included Haksen, but they call me a lot (Seeing the other table, I ordered Haksen one by one...) It seemed like it was possible to make a reservation, and if you don’t make a reservation, you may have to wait.

The food was very good, unfortunately the staff often only wears the masks over their mouths and not at all at the counter and kitchen area. Guests in the beer garden without a mask are also not asked to put them on. In this respect, unfortunately, no 2nd visit for us during Corona times.

I have lived in Oberursel for over 30 years and have been visiting the brewery regularly, albeit at longer intervals. There have been changes in terms of price-performance ratio, quality and offer, almost always in the last 2 years, with every visit. Sometimes I'm completely satisfied, and then less. The prices have currently risen, which makes sense because of the increased purchase prices. What bothers me more is that you i.a. Removed the fried potato pan from your menu. A request to the waiter to still place this order was unsuccessful. If you want fried potatoes, then only together with meaty, larger dishes - I find that unacceptable in terms of service. What is so difficult about serving a fried potato pan with a fried egg that you've had on the menu for years anyway? The beer is recommended. I actually want to give it 3 stars, but I still like the house, as well as the service. LG

We always like to go to the brewery here. The service is really on the ball and always has an overview and is always friendly and fast even when the garden is full. Kudos to everyone! The meal took a while, but that was still ok. The salad for the main meal unfortunately came with the main course and not before. Not really dramatic either, but unfamiliar. The food itself was very tasty (knuckle and schnitzel with green sauce). The star point deduction is only available for the so-called "fried potatoes". They used to be very tasty and, according to old cooking tradition, sliced ​​with bacon and onions. Unfortunately, only this time came small potatoes with their skin on, which were seared in half in the pan. If I had known that beforehand, I would have neither ordered nor paid for them. You MUST rename this supplement. When we asked the service department, we were told that the so-called "fried potatoes" had been and will remain like this for the time being since the reopening after the Corona Lock Down. What a shame, a shame ...

A really nice and cozy beer garden. In addition, good light and delicious food at reasonable prices. The service was very courteous. What more do you want there? It's a shame that there are so few recommended breweries like this one in the Berlin area! Only because of the distance I will unfortunately not be able to become a regular guest.

Despite the abundance, the service had a good overview. So (new) orders could be placed quickly and the things were brought to the table accordingly quickly. There are different beers depending on the season. Which of course always taste different. I found the current wheat very tasty. You can also have beer bottled directly and take it home with you when it's tasty. The food is tasty and very well prepared for the price. I will gladly come again.

We are always very happy to be here. In summer it is nice to sit in the beer garden and it is also very cozy inside. All friendly service and a varied menu. The light beer is definitely the best around 👍🏼

My favorite brewery 10 minutes North of Frankfurt

Sorry, but it is not good. Waited 2 hours for the meal. Repeat orders did not come despite demand. Many guests came after us and went ahead of us. I think we would just forget. With a few exceptions, the food was not good either. 4 burned potato pancakes for a lot of money. Sauerkraut already dried. Schnitzel hard and tough. Roast pork, on the other hand, is very good. Too bad ...... had actually planned a nice family evening with children and grandchildren. Unfortunately it was a disaster.

I like to go to the brewery. Unfortunately, it drifts more and more towards mass instead of class. I always take a bottle with me and was always satisfied with the light. Yesterday I took some wheat with me and I have to say it's a cheek. Never drank such a watery "empty" beer. Tastes like amber-colored water with a sip of 100l of banana juice (probably to make it smell like wheat). So if that's supposed to be craftsmanship, then good night!

Great beer! Good German cuisine, freshly cooked and regional products are used. Fantastic apple strudel! You can also buy beer for € 4 per liter + deposit.

This place is around 300 years old. Great placr for authentic German food. There were 5 of us and we ordered the platter which is for 4 people and we couldn't finish it. The quantity and quality is excellent which is combined with very friendly service from the staff.

I have been here several times. I would say as a big fan of Haxe, it’s best at this restaurant. Their sauerkraut is also the best ever. But I wouldn’t really order Schnitzel.

It's a nice restaurant

This place is simply awesome. The food is always great. The atmosphere is always great. Been coming here since 17 years. Never disappointed. The Haxe, Nürnberger sausages, Bratkartoffel, etc are all amazing. And the deserts are also unworldly. Highly recommended.

This is one of my favorite places in all of Oberursel, the people are friendly and nice, the place is super tradicional and clean and the food is spectacular. The portions are enough for large apetite and this place is worth going to. It has many areas where you can eat or drink and the menu is super local. If you are a beer enthusiast then I recommend you try the beer sample menu, where you get to taste the different locally brewed beers.

A beautiful Brauhaus with vegan options: This place came as a wonderful surprise. It's not dark and smelly like some places but beautifully designed, the service is fantastic, and they have several vegan options. I'm usually not into traditional German food but this place I really recommend!

This a very traditional and authentic Brauahus. The food is very good, well cooked and plates are also very rich. One of the specialties is clearly the Haus Haxe. The beer is also amazing and with very balanced test. The restaurant itself is very traditional and built into an historical building downtown. In summer you Can also enjoy a wonderful Biergarten in the court of the main building. The staff is not so friendly on average although you may find very caring waiters as well. Worth a visit.

Good old inn with a nice beer garden with good-tasting beer and equally tasty German cuisine. The knuckles are hard to manage. The service had forgotten us in the meantime, but the quality of food and drink then compensated. The prices are suitable.

While searching for a good place to eat I found this beautiful old restaurant which has its own brewery with fresh beer every day. Prices are very good, the food is amazing and it goes perfect with the homemade beer. It has an authentic German feel to it, and would go again and again :)

Alt Oberurseler Brauhaus is a brewpub restaurant that specializes in good German cuisine in a relaxing friendly atmosphere, which is the the main reason people visit. Their food menu consists of appetizers, salads, sausages, classic entrees, and desserts. They also have a small in-house brewery for their 3 house beers, a nice bonus. The building is 3-story white with red trim and a steep tile roof. The main building contains their dining room and a service bar (no seating). Behind the bar are their shiny copper brewing vessels, a lovely sight. They produce 3 house beers which are quite tasty, and my favorite was their Dunkel Dark Lager. To the right of the main building is a breezeway leading to their outdoor beer garden. Oh, it is a charming secluded space with plenty of tables, several large umbrellas, and a large shade tree. Festive bunting is strung overhead, and the space is just perfect. Friendly waitstaff hurries to provide beer and food, and my server spoke English which made things easier for me. At the back of their patio is a walkup service window for the staff. Inside is a second service bar which promptly provides pints and bottles of beer. The two buildings and a fence as the third wall create and enclosed space that is tranquil and inviting. There is no music, but the family friendly place has the soft background chatter of happy conversations. It is a nice place to visit.

Great beer and great food, but the service is the absolute worst. The first waiter took 15 minutes to take our drinks order and then said he couldn't take our food order but that he'd send the proper waitress "right over". We left 15 minutes later without any further service or beer.

Good taste and good people very nice. But the parking is hard.

The beer is pretty good, but better don’t try their Craft beer. The menu is pretty much a copy of a traditional Bavarian restaurant. Finally it’s okay but nothing extraordinary.
